Trans(T*).DisCity/ Movement, Reflection and Visibility

A cultural initiative by trivium and Jaskaran Singh

2025 focuses on three interconnected lenses:

Movement

How does the city shape the way we move, breathe, gather, and express?

Reflection

How do panic, care, grief, and hope live in the body?
What stories do we carry without speaking?

Visibility

How are we seen in differences adn uniqueness— by institutions, by culture, by each other?

Trans(T*)·DisCity is an evolving, city-wide artistic program exploring how bodies, memories, and emotions move through urban spaces.

Through public interventions, temporary open spaces, embodied rituals, fashion and story markets, and audio-visual observations, the project transforms Linz and Vienna into living laboratories of care, imagination, and collective memory.

What connects all of this?

A methodology called story-observation:
listening to the body as an archive, a compass, a sensor of the city.

Across 2025, Trans(T*)·DisCity creates moments where strangers become witnesses, where public spaces turn into soft laboratories, and where movement becomes a way of thinking.
